You were picked for the NZ wake team last year to compete in Korea, how was the overall experience? Worlds were probably the best opportunity I’ve had and it was a wicked experience! Yeah? Ha just everything about it was rad! Riding in a different country, seeing and meeting new people, visiting Korea and yeah! Stoked I was given the opportunity to go! Glad I went.

As you’re a year older what division can we expect to see you riding in for the new season, going to give the big boys a run for their money? Yeah hopefully Open Mens I think! I plan on riding alot this season and try go up to next level.

First year enjoying the Uni Expirence hows Wellington treating you? Haha uhhhh Wellington is awesome! Not so much wakeboarding at the moment which isn’t the greatest and I’ve probably been "socializing" a bit much. Uni is going good! Studying a commerce degree. Should be studying right now for an exam tomorrow but I’m procrastinating... haha.

A little birdie told me you and the Blenheim boys had the opportunity to shred with the style master Ben Greenwood last summer, care to share? Ben Greenwood was easily the best riding I’ve watched from the boat (bar David Stubbs...)hah na. It was awesome that Ben made the trip to the south island from Aus to ride with us Blenheim boys it was an awesome day. I’m fairly sure he loved the warm climate here! Also if you thought watching him ride on dvd was cool wait till you see his riding real life.

If you could get one trick under your belt for the season any insight or is it top secret? Ha hmmmmm duno yet, I have a few tricks I'd love to be able to do but don’t want to say in case I cant do them and look a fool! Ha yeah... I’d be happy with anything new though, I’m going to try ride as much as possible, we’ll see what happens.

RIP Lake Rotoma

New 5 Knot zone has been introduced over on lake Rotoma, on the best arm for riding always a smooth piece of water to be had. Looks like we'll be looking for a new spot for over the holiday period.
